Die Junge SP Region Olten (JSPRO) hat am vergangenen Freitag, den 21. Oktober, ihre KandidatInnen für die kommenden Wahlen in Kanton und Gemeinde vorgestellt und einstimmig nominiert
Für die Kantonsratswahlen konnten den zahlreich anwesenden Mitgliedern 23 äusserst vielfältige und politisch motivierte KanditatInnen präsentiert werden. Obwohl die Junge SP ohne bisheriges Ratsmitglied antritt, ist für Co-Präsident Simon Gomm klar, dass im März 2017„auf jeden Fall ein Sitzgewinn angestrebt wird“. Das Ziel ist es, die 29 Listenplätze bis Ende Jahr noch zu füllen um den WählerInnen eine sehr breite und qualitativ hochstehende Auswahl an KandidatInnen zu bieten. Für die aktuell noch freien Listenplätze erhielt der Wahlausschuss die Kompetenz zur Nachnomination.
Für die Gemeinderatswahlen in Olten gestaltet sich die Situation aufgrund der Verkleinerung des Parlaments um 20 Prozent anspruchsvoll. Mit der bisherigen Gemeinderätin Lusia Jakob und zwölf weiteren KandidatInnen soll aber der momentane Sitz der Jungen SP Region Olten – der einzige Sitz einer Jungpartei im Oltner Parlament – zumindest verteidigt werden.
Der Campaigner der SP Kanton Solothurn, Lukas Uetz, hat als Gast der Nominationsveranstaltung die Basiskampagne der SP vorgestellt und die Junge SP Region Olten herzlich zur Teilnahme eingeladen. Das Ziel hierbei sei es, bis zu den Wahlen mit möglichst vielen WählerInnen und SympathisantInnen persönlich sprechen und sie zu überzeugen, die JSPRO und die SP zu wählen. Neben Gesprächen in der Nachbarschaft, am Familientisch und im Quartier wird dies vor allem am Telefon geschehen.
