Die Veranstaltungsreihe „Thursday Juggle“ rund um die DJ-Gruppe „Irie Posse“, organisiert seit 2012 monatlich an einem Donnerstag Abend Reggae-Veranstaltungen in Olten.
Am Donnerstag, 5. November wurden die Bewohner der seit Spätsommer eröffneten Asylunterkunft im Gheid eingeladen, gemeinsam mit den Jugendlichen der Stadt Olten am “Thursday Juggle” in der Paraiba Bar teilzunehmen.
Die “Thursday Juggle-Crew” sieht das Ziel dieser Aktion darin, eine natürliche Integration in einer entspannten Atmosphäre zu ermöglichen.
Bereits im Oktober wurde durch eine Privatspende den Asylbewerbern aus zahlreichen Ländern wie Syrien, Afghanistan oder Eritrea durch Getränkebons ein Softdrink oder ein Bier spendiert.
Die beiden Veranstaltungen verliefen äusserst erfolgreich. Sowohl von den Jugendlichen der Stadt als auch von den Asylbewerbern kamen durchwegs positive Rückmeldungen.
